Taylor Soft Serve & Frozen Yogurt Machines
Rocky Mountains Distributing is the authorized Taylor dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and southern Wyoming, and Taylor soft serve machines have been our specialty since 1962. Whether you’re opening your first ice cream shop or adding soft serve to a restaurant, convenience store or resort, we’ll help you choose the right commercial soft serve machine, then deliver it, install it, train your team and keep it running.
How to Choose a Commercial Soft Serve Machine
Every Taylor soft serve machine is built for commercial use. The right model depends on your volume, your menu and how much space you have.
Ice cream and frozen yogurt shops
Busy shops do best with floor standing twist machines like the Taylor C712, C713, C791 and C794, which serve two flavors plus a twist and recover quickly between servings. Pump fed models also control how much air goes into the product, giving you a creamier texture and more servings from each bag of mix.
Restaurants and quick service
Heat treatment models like the Taylor C708 and C709 heat the product overnight to control bacteria, so they need a full teardown and cleaning far less often than standard machines, depending on your local health code. That saves your staff hours every week.
Convenience stores, food trucks and concessions
Countertop models like the Taylor C706 and C707 fit on existing counters where floor space is limited. Gravity fed versions are simple to run and clean, which helps when staff rotates.
Shake and soft serve programs
Taylor combination freezers like the C606, C612 and 632 make soft serve and shakes from one commercial ice cream machine, so you can run both menus without a second freezer.
Hard ice cream and custard
If you make your own scooped ice cream or frozen custard, a batch freezer is the right tool instead of a soft serve machine. See our Taylor custard and batch freezers and Emery Thompson batch freezers.
